100% leaf material composted 8 to 14 months.
Description
The material is available screened or unscreened (regular).  The screened has been passed through a 1” screen.  The regular can have clumps and some debris such as sticks in it.  Humus is dark brown to black in color and very rich in nutrients.  The pH range is 6-8.  Sold by the yard or in 1 cubic foot bags (screened only).  The bags are labeled for resale by garden centers, etc. and are sold individually or by pallets of 40 bags each.
Uses
  • Soil conditioner to enrich gardens and flowerbeds

  • Break up clay in beds or gardens

Composition
Approximately 50% screened leaf humus and 50% concrete sand.
Description

A mix designed to break up clay and add nutrition to bad soil.  It is mixed when loaded into the truck.  It will not be thoroughly mixed when delivered.  However, because it is intended to be worked into existing soil, it will get thoroughly mixed during installation.  Sold by the yard.

Uses
  • Improving poor soil conditions.

  • Adding to vegetable gardens.
