Agricultural
straw that has been cut, dried, and baled. The bales are standard size, approximately 1 ½’ X 2’ X
4’ and will cover about 500 square feet (based on hand spreading). Straw blowers will cover approximately 350-450 square feet
per bale. Straw is recommended for spreading over all newly planted
grass seed. It helps
retain moisture and keeps the wind from blowing the seed
